Wrong date at set up on free version - how do I fix it?

I am a sole trader using the free version of clearbooks in prep for MTD. I accidentally set it up with a start date of the 1st April 2025 not 6th April 2025. In messing around trying to fix it I think I have duplicated all my transactions. Can I fix it? If not how do I delete or void all existing data and start over?

Hi Helen,

In this case, you will need to head to Dashboard > Bank accounts > All unexplained statements > Click on the Explained tab > Click Explain beside the relevant statement. You will then need to click the Red Wheel icon beside any duplicates and then click the Bin icon to delete this.

Alternatively, if you'd like, you can reset the account via the Building Icon (top right) > Settings > Reset account.
