MTD period type change before first submission

I'm a new user. My tax year should start on 6th April but I noticed the software defaulted to 1st April (calendar period type) and I didn't get any prompts when I created my account last week. I have already created some of the transactions for my first quarter. I haven't made any MTD submissions yet so I believe I should be able to change period dates, so how do I change this?

Hi Anita,

You can amend your reporting periods under Settings > Periods.

For the MTD Quarterly periods, you can amend this under Dashboard > MTD for income tax > Select Standard in the Period type dropdown.
