Unable to process unallocated transactions

I am trying to deal with unallocated transactions and i keep getting the message;

"Sorry, we were unable to import this transaction. You are trying to process a transaction that precedes or is in a locked accounting period. Manage accounting periods here."

I have no locked accounting periods and the transactions fall within the current tax year which is unlocked

Hi Charles,

I have taken a look and can see you have future periods locked. In this case, you will need to unlock all future periods in order to process transactions that precedes these periods.
