I know there was a pits about this some time ago, but dies anyone have experience of exporting from
Sage and importing to Clearbooks?
We are keen to transfer to Clearbooks, but we are very keen to transfer from Online 50, which is a hosted version of Sage Line 50 to a true cloud system, and Clearbooks looks like it fits the bill, but we need to be able to transfer our accounting history for stock control purposes.

We do have a Sage import tool which is currently in beta and may be able to help import your data directly into Clear Books. You will need to obtain the database file and send that through to contact support
Alternatively to this, we have lots of import tools on the Tools>Import menu. Each tool has a template which you can download. The template is in CSV format and shows all the fields that can be updated in Clear Books as the column headers. You can manipulate your Sage data into the appropriate template and then import this template into CBs. If you need any help or have problems with this just let us know.
