I have a client who sells used cars under the "Margin" scheme where VAT is only charged on the profit made on the vehicle. This means that an invoice showing the VAT incurred means the buyer can work out the profit made. Is there a way or template to show the gross values only throughout the invoice? (The VAT will still need to be accounted for when creating the invoice.)

In this case, you will need to create an invoice theme under the advanced CSS options to get the correct invoice theme for your Margin VAT scheme requirements.

There is a Margin VAT scheme invoice theme that can be found if you go to Settings > Invoice Themes > Templates. Just search Margin and it will show up as a way for you to counteract your problem.

Whilst this hides the VAT on the line items it doesn't hide the VAT total at the bottom of the invoice.
