How /where do I input the VAT I have paid (Not using CB link with HMRC) to CB?

Hello,

I have searched all VAT questions on the community and help guides but cannot find an answer. I think I must be missing it as its such an obvious question, so please accept apologies in advance.

HMRC have taken (correctly) a payment from the company bank account for VAT.

How do I input a record of this payment into CB please?

I am not using the automated link from CB to HMRC.

Hi Graeme,

To record the payment to HMRC, all you will need to do is create a bill with HMRC as the entity and have VAT control as the account.
