Not importing paypal correctly

Hi

I have tried to import my paypal account but when I check it has not imported the whole month and missed off from the 21st August - 31st August. There are some transactions in this period. When I have tried to import again from 22nd August - 31st August it is showing as Your selected start date is within an already imported date range.

Help?

Would you please be able to send me the PayPal statement itself along with your PayPal import so that I am able to compare the two and check the dates please?

Hi Alyson, Can you tell me please whether these are Transactions going into or out of Paypal, where to and whether they appear on the PayPal statement, please?

They are both going in and out of paypal. One was a ebay invoice on the 27th August that has been completely missed off. I have looked in September just in case. They are going into the ogstamps / tenshillings paypal.

But in every case the balance is going up and down correctly, so the transactions are being'completed'? Does the same happen if you transfeer between PayPal and your bank account?

Yes the transfers are going fine. It is just the import from paypal to clearbooks.

We have had it in the past that Paypal transactions, although successful, have not been showing up on Statements. This was shown to be an issue with PayPal itself, perhaps going down, and as it was not represented on the statement it was never actually showing in Clear books either.

However, are you saying that the transactions show up on your bank/Paypal statements, but, once imported to Clear books they disappear?

Yes this is exactly what is happening. I am missing 10 days of transactions on clearbooks that are on my paypal statement. I have tried to re import this period but clearbooks wont let me.

Can you delete the original import and then import again, Alyson?

If not, please could you send me a screenshot/attachment of a statement which shows these transactions and I will try to trace where they have gone.

I am now on September and clearbooks has missed about 40 transactions off the paypal import for rushmore/re-entry. I cannot re import it as it said that it hs alreay been imported. If you look at the paypal rushmore/re-entry you will see that there is a gap from the 16th September to the 22ndSeptember. I have cancelled it from paypal and reinstalled the API again. Still doesn't work.

Are all these transactions represented on the PayPal statement and are these particular transactions fees or the purchases/sales themselves?

Yes, they are all on the paypal statement and are transactions for purchases.
