Third Party Accountant Access

Question asked by Alistair Wood 10 years ago

What's the best way to provide access to a third party accountant? Do I just create them as a user and if so is there a user account type that has full access but initially I want to just give read only access and ability to run reports? Does each user access of this type require a license?

Hi Alistair,

You should be able to invite them as a user by heading to Home > Users and clicking the invite user button. This will take you to a page where you can set the permission settings for the accountant to minimal to begin with, only allowing them to view list invoices, list bills etc, and setting the report permissions to full. Then at a later stage, you can head to Home > Users, click on the pencil icon to the right of the accountant's name and change the permission options to full.

I hope that was helpful,

All the best,

Shaz
