Figures split by projects detailed on trial balance

Hi, is there a way to amend the Trial Balance report to show expenses split out by project?

Hi Andrew,

I am afraid that the Trial Balance report doesn't support that kind of functionality. You can only refine by date at the moment.

I have been using CB for 3 years now as treasurer of a charity. During that time I have found a number of peculiarities. I know this original post is 5 years old, but the biggest restriction by far remains the unavailability of the option to split out the TB by project at the end of the financial year. This would entail credit and debit columns for each project used in that year and credit and debit totals columns at the end.

To arrange the figures into the format required by the accountants for the charity requires error-prone manual input. With the facility to export a TB by project in CSV format, I could import it into a multi-tab spreadsheet and have all the figures derived immediately, saving many hours of work. As a former software designer, I cannot believe this would be very difficult to do.
