Filters

Question asked by Kim Stevenson 10 years ago

Sales - Invoices - The filters for searching clients is no longer there and has been replaced by an on and of button which is very time consuming.. can we not have it reverted back. If the filter is turned on there is no reset button to view all in the invoicing section.

OK,

We did a quick research. We'll re-introduce the 'reset' button.

(At the same instance, we also plan to remove the 'find' button - it will automatically filter the results the moment you make any change - client, dates, etc.)

Hi Kim,

If you would like to use the filters every time you can simply leave them on and they will be there every time you return. As for the reset function, I see what you mean.. I think you can get round this by selecting All in the customer field. But I shall bring this to the attention of our UX team.

Thanks

Chris

Thank you Chris. Just more buttons to press!

By switching the filters off, the filters are no longer in force, which is same as the previous 'reset' button.

As Chris said, while on, the filters stay on. So it's a single extra click.

There are multitude of ways to find a record of interest, using filters is one of them. But not all users need them always, and thus we made them 'on demand' - only showing when users need them. This saves quite a bit of visual noise on the screen (and soon space as well, which will allow you to see more records).

We have re-introduced the 'reset' button.

Also, when switch on, they filter will now stay on anywhere in the system.
