Payroll: P32 and/or list of payments

Idea suggested by Kevin Doran 9 years ago

This really needs to happen, it's such a vital element of running a proper payroll.

See the explanation i've just given here https://secure.clearbooks.co.uk/community/questions/12713/payroll-only-payments-report - reading back it just seems crazy that any kind of workaround like that is required.

P32 has been mentioned god knows how many times now, https://secure.clearbooks.co.uk/community/ideas/3676/p32 and https://secure.clearbooks.co.uk/community/ideas/10331/payroll-p32 for example.

A payments list is also something i've mentioned before and Paul seemed to agree https://secure.clearbooks.co.uk/community/ideas/11959/payroll-payments-summary

Perhaps the idea could be re-floated....

Hello

Is there still no way to generate a P32 from Clearbooks this is a pretty standard payroll report?

Nope :-(

thats very odd! How do you know how much employer NI is paid by employee I cant seem to get this data anywhere?

Employees don't pay employer's NI.

Are you running your payroll in Clear Books?

Yes I am the employer but cant see the breakdown by employee or the amount payable

You will see a summary of tax/NI deductions and employers NI due in the payroll section itself by selecting the appropriate pay period.

When you import the payroll into the accounts it will generate a bill payable to HMRC. Click on the bill itself and it will then give you a summarised breakdown and also deduct the NI allowance.

Yes it does but not by employee level unfortunately

You want the employERS NI at employee level?

Yes please?

file

That's the only place you'll see it broken down at employee level but it doesn't factor in the NIC allowance [if you're claiming it] in the payroll module itself, only once you import the bills into the accounts.

thanks didnt spot this, thats great. Sorry first payroll on Clearbooks just trying to understand it as couldnt find much reading matter on how to run the payroll
