Quotes/drafts to automatically go into a forecast

Is it possible to use quotes/drafts to automatically go into a forecast? I would like to see what estimated income is coming into the business for future months. Once the draft invoices/quotes become live then this goes into the balance sheet I appreciate but I would like to get a better handle on how we can forecast incoming fees. I would be grateful for any support you can provide on this.

Great idea - the current Forecast tool falls short of accurately predicting income.
