Mobile App - Mark an invoice as paid

Idea suggested by Ian Wilson 7 years ago

Hi well done for finally getting round to re-launching the clearbooks mobile app It would be great if you could add the option to mark an invoice as paid, as I often get notifications that a payment has been received by my bank whilst out and about, and it would be great to mark as paid, before I forget to update clearbooks upon my return

additionally along the same lines unallocated receipts would be nice to have feature

Hi Isobel,

Thank you for your feedback regarding the ability to mark invoices as paid and split transactions within the mobile app.

This is something that our Product team are exploring as a wider project once we free up some capacity on our Product Roadmap. In the meantime, you can continue to perform these actions by logging into Clear Books through a web browser on your mobile device.

I would like to see this feature added too. I cancelled my Quickbooks SE subscription and chose Clearbooks instead, but I’m now beginning to miss some of the features that the QBSE app provided. I’d like to be able to mark invoices as paid from the app, and also to be able to split payments from the app too. For example, on QBSE I could split my petrol receipt into business/personal by either percentage use or by cost (could only do the % split on the desktop version).

Marking invoices as paid and splitting bills on the app were very handy features. Any chance of Clearbooks introducing these?

Has this feature been implemented yet? Cannot mark invoices as paid via the android app.

Hi Ian,

We don't have that feature at present I'm afraid. Though we are always looking to expand our mobile app with more features. I will pass your feedback onto our developers for consideration! Thank you.

All the best,

Mohamed.
