Have the ability to attach delivery notes to P/O's and then these to purchase invoices for traceability

It would be really handy to be able to attach documents to purchase orders similar to how you do with purchase bills. We have to provide a traceability trail with most of our purchases, and at the moment we use a manual purchase order system, however it would be really handy to start using the Clearbooks purchase order system as i think it could benefit us, however we can't find a way to link our delivery notes with the Purchase Order and the Invoice. We can obviously drag & drop, email or take photos of invoices and they will automatically go to the bills inbox. Is there a way that we could do this for delivery notes to attach to purchase orders, and then in turn, link that purchase order and delivery note to the invoice through the bills inbox??

Thanks for this attachments request. I've added this to our development backlog, and we'll prioritise it as we plan upcoming updates.

We have existing functionality when you have the purchase order feature toggled on, that shows a purchase order field when creating and reviewing bills. This allows the bill to be matched to the relevant PO from the bills inbox.

Also, thanks Gareth for your additional request. User identification will be included as part of our development work that will introduce an approval process to purchase orders.

Yep, Purchase Orders definitely needs improving

Even an option to see who created the Purchase Order would be useful
