Integrate Camera for employee expenses

Would be really great if Clearbooks could add the ability to capture employee expenses on an expenses form on the mobile phone app.

So as an employee, I can take a picture of my receipt / invoice, upload it to my clearbooks, fill in a some information (e.g. cost, category, tax etc). press 'Save'

Clearbooks does integrate with Receipt Bank for this function but I agree it would be a lot easier to have it all in one place.

Getting clients to keep on top of expenses is always a bookkeepers lament so making more functions like that available on apps is a real bonus. Hope they do it asap

In the latest versions of Clear Books Mobile (1.1.0) is possible to scan receipts and upload them the the attachments section. The next feature will be expenses module.

I am happy to announce that the ability to create expenses has been added to the mobile app.

You can also upload and attach photos of expenses taken directly from the app.

As mentioned by Adrian, the expenses function allows users to create and file expense claims. There is an option to attach images from camera or by photo library directly to the application.
