Clear Books to provide 'Header' giving guidance on how to use 'Ideas' Forum

Idea suggested by Graeme Loudain 10 years ago

1) There is no guidance provided by CB on how CB users can affect the implementation of Ideas. There is often a response from CB to an idea that says 'if it gets enough votes' but the only person who will probably read that is the OP. There should be a couple of lines of explanation in a 'header' for the Ideas Forum that tells users to read the ideas and how to vote on them

2) Also, CB should advise posters to provide sufficient information (if possible) in the title of the post to give a pretty good idea of what the post is about. A header such as 'Purchase Orders' doesnt assist the reader.

Hi Graeme, We have had a lot of success in the past with ideas being seen by a number of people, widely discussed and then implemented. So, overall, the system does work. There is however a large number of ideas posted every day and not all can be seen by everyone, though they are all listed in the forum by 'heading'. The idea that a brief summary of how to use the ideas forum in terms of being able to comment and vote, without having to be told this within the post is a good suggestion.

Hello Chris

So if " The idea that a brief summary of how to use the ideas forum in terms of being able to comment and vote, without having to be told this within the post is a good suggestion "

what will happen?

Thanks

Graeme

Hi Graeme,

It's already been put to our team and those who deal with creating copy are coming up with something as this affects all posts and contributors. A short summary should cover all the info.
