Can you add an option to send paid invoices and a thank you email when you mark a payment as sent?
You have the feature for auto-sending invoices to customers on creation and I would find a feature to auto-notify suppliers that you have paid them similarly useful.

Hi Edward, We do have the option for sending 'paid'/'thank you' emails in the system already, but these are not automatic. To have an automatic feature like this, or for receipts, is interesting, however. It would be interesting to see what others think about this and how popular it is.

Yes indeedy, I use the thank you email feature but have to manually do it.
It is worth noting that it is not as easy to send these emails as when a customer pays. You have to come out of the invoice, then go into the "Paid" screen find the invoice and click the email button.
Would think that other users would find this useful as it updates their suppliers easily without intervention :)
Thank you for the feedback Edward, it's always good to hear about someone's experiences of our system and it's useful to know what affects our customers on a day to day basis. We endeavour to constantly improve and update our offerings in accordance with real needs, so if this does indeed receive support it is possible that it will be looked at in the future.

Often my customers are puzzled if I don't send an email to thank them for their payment.
Yes I can automatically send them several overdue reminders.
Surely these feature isn't overly difficult to add, other accounting systems have had it for years

I am afraid this is still something we do not support at present but that we are aware of. Our priority at present is preparation for MTD, Clear Books Micro and development of a mobile app. I hope this helps.
