Invoice URL's

Hi Peter,

The link with the invoice ID does still direct you to the same invoice, am I correct? Would this be purely for reference purposes, as sending URL's requires one to sign in anyway?

No. I made up the link with ?invoice_number=XXX.

Invoice-ID and Invoice-number are different values, and specifying an invoice number where it expects an ID does not work.

Yes, I appreciate I need to be logged in for these to work.

When a client queries an invoice they use the number - I'd like a quick link to that invoice using the number.

Thanks for the clarification, Peter. You both have to be logged in for this to work. I can see that this would be a more obvious way to get to invoices. it would be interesting to see what others think of this idea and whether they feel it would be a beneficial addition for them too. The more comments and likes your idea receives the more likely our developers are to look at it sooner.

Yes, its a great idea, I use this to keep a link to the invoice in my records. I already have the invoice number, so it doesnt make sense to input 2 fields manually (invoice no and the link), when you can have the link created from the invoice no.
