Announcement: Attachments improvements

We’ve streamlined the way you upload and attach files to make your workflow smoother and more efficient! Here's what's new:

One step upload and attach

Now, when you upload a file, it will be automatically attached to the document you’re working on. file

Visibility

Text links and buttons now show how many attachments are present for that document. file

New for Purchase Orders

Attachments can now be added to Purchase Orders as well. file

Unattached Files Management

You can still send unattached files to your "scans" email address and these will continue to appear in the unattached files section. But to keep things simple, you will only see this section and table, if there are unattached files available. file

I am on the app and have brought up an invoice that has been paid. I normally attach a copy of the paid invoice to the invoice number that has been paid, however I have tried to do this today (21/10/2024) and I am getting an error message saying "Oops - Clear Books does not have the required permission to access your device's storage. Please enable this through the device's app settings to use this feature". I have checked the app settings and it is showing "Allow". I have uninstalled the app and re-installed and I am still getting the same error message. App was working perfectly fine last week.
