Announcement: Create paid bills

Now, when entering an already-paid bill, you can mark it as paid immediately, select the bank account it was paid from, and optionally specify the payment method used - all in one step.

Clear Books will automatically create the corresponding bank record, making it faster and easier to keep your accounts accurate and up-to-date.

Note: This option is available when creating bills from the bills inbox and when manually creating bills.

I really like the thought of this idea, but find I can't use it as I am unable to choose the date something has been paid. This is not necessarily the same date as the invoice or accrual date. Is this a field that might be added? Could have it default to the Date on top, but then capability to choose date from drop-down calendar.

Hi Kali,

For a different payment date to the bill, you must head into the bill, scroll down and use the Record Payment form to allocate the payment.
