Dashboard VAT overdue / due from HMRC

It seems that the dashboard widget for VAT is constantly wrong. I believe this is because it looks at every transaction, even those outside my VAT registration dates? While I can understand why it might do that surely that is a pretty small percentage of cases where they would want it to display that, only those first registering for VAT.

It's also not correct when I click the amount I get a load of transactions already included on a VAT return.

I believe the solution here is to only look at the current VAT period.

The date transactions are displayed for are 01/07/2014 to today. 01/07/2014 is my tax year start date. It does appear to be including transactions already on a VAT return. For example the dashboard says £129.07 due from HMRC but when clicking that amount it lists about £1000 instead, beginning from 01/07/2014.

This just needs changing to use the current VAT period it seems.
