Restore Backup just creates another backup

Hi,

I'm trying to restore a Backup cbo file that I have, however whenever I try to either:

1.)Use the "Restore From File" option 2.)Use "Show Restore Option" and select to restore

All I am given is another backup file and no restore is performed.

Is there a currently functioning method of restoring a backup file?
