Unable to View Bill Attachments

When trying to view attachment to Purchase Bill I get this error message:

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

Why is this happening?

Hi Lynda-Marie,

I have just tried opening a few attachments (they were all PDF files) on your account and they seemed to open fine - do you have any specific examples of purchases experiencing this problem?
