VAT submission problems.

Can anyone help.. trying to submit a VAT return and getting an error

The VAT return could not be submitted to HMRC. Have you enabled Clear Books as your agent? Is your VAT number correct?

I have checked the VAT number and it is correct. I have set up the account so that I as an agent can send it off.

Any help would be appreciated.

Silly question but I presume as agent you've got a 64-8 in place for the client?

Did you get to the bottom of this in the end Ben?
