I just got started with clearbooks. I'm trying to explain all of my imported transaction. But when I click 'Add new transaction' I'm just send to /accounting/settings/wizard/ with the text "We need a few more details to set up your account". All of the fields is already filled out so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if there's a bug?

I tried doing that but it's still not working?
yep the reporting period would also cause this problem - just delete the reporting periods you have - the first one will then be possible to edit
The VAT scheme may also still be a problem even though you are non VAT registered as this is still a defined scheme and will have a start date. You can just delete it and re-add with a new start date
I haven't set up a VAT scheme as we're not registred for VAT yet but the date of the transaction is before the start of reporting period I set up during signup. I added the period afterwards under "Settings - Reporting periods". Seems like this could have caused the problem. What would the fix be?

What is the date of the transaction you are trying to add? It sounds as though it could be before your VAT scheme was set up to begin. If you head to Settings>Organisation>Tax:
Click on the Manage VAT schemes and delete any schemes. Next re-add a scheme that covers the date of the transaction you are trying to add, leave the Date To box blank - this will leave it open ended and can be updated if you change schemes in future:
