New Entry Screen Layout

Problem reported by Sharon Petrie 9 years ago

Is there any reason why the screens have now changed to a larger font so that each item to be entered now has multiple lines - rather than the smaller font we had previously?

Also, the drop down product list doesn't work as before - i.e. if I type "P", I don't get taken to the top product starting with P as before. Additionally, the hope through of picking the product then the price was more user friendly thank this version where you pick the product then have to go back into the price box if it is different from the one set in Stock.

This new layout is horrible.

Having multiple lines for a single entry now are confusing and things like the summary take an extra click to complete.

I hope this is just a formatting error with the website as I don't know how this got past design?

When creating a new expense claim / sales invoice or Purchase invoice - Please can we have the drop down facility on the Supplier/customer as well as the search facility. Many will have already been set up and you are having to remember what you have called them.

With regards to the layout - For many of our clients, choosing an Item determines where a cost should be coded to so it would make more sense to have the Item and Account code boxes around the other way?

Overall appearance is not very pleasing to the eye.

Thanks for the feedback guys - this is all currently being reviewed by the development and management team. There are most likely going to be a number of tweaks to get this looking and working much better.
