Can't see an invoice unless I do search

Problem reported by Simon Holland 7 years ago

Invoice 6168 I needed to clear the invoice above but when looked in unpaid invoices it wasn't there so I did a search and found it. I allocated payment to it expecting it to go into paid - but it isn't there! Where has it gone? Please help Thanks

Hi Simon,

The invoice (6168) status is currently paid, so can be found if you head to the Invoices page and filter to "Paid". Alternatively, you can use the search bar in the top right and search for the invoice number (6168) which will pull up the paid invoice for viewing.

Thanks, Theo

Hi,

It seems that when you filter on the entity then the invoice doesn't show. But if you search for it only with the paid filter it shows (i found it on the 3rd page).

I have inquired with the development team, to get a little more clarity on why this is happening. I will update you when more information is available.

I hope this helps, Theo

Thanks Theo, Although I had searched with the paid filter - as per screen grab - but still didn't show... My concern is that the client can't see that the invoice has been paid. Anyway. let me know what the team come back with. Thanks

Hi Simon,

Sorry for the delay.

It appears that you had two contacts called "Helpful Holidays", and the invoice in question was linked to the supplier entity of these contacts, hence why when filtered the invoice would not show amongst the rest.

The affected invoice has been reassigned to the correct contact and now should be viewable in a filtered view.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. If there are any other quirks please don't hesitate to let me know.

Thanks, Theo

Hi Theo Thanks for clarifying that and rectifying the problem! I will look into why there are 2 contacts. Kind regards

Thanks Theo, But it still isn't showing on paid invoices (see attached screen grab). I have asked a colleague to check too and they can't see it either!
