VAT to GST New Zealand

Hi,

I have been using Clearbooks for my UK limited company for years. I am setting up my limited company in New Zealand and would like to stay with Clearbooks I have added an account and told it the currency for $ and set up the location but it still refers to VAT but is is called GST over here. Is there a way to change the word VAT to GST for New Zealand accounts? At the moment I am not registered for GST at 15% so for the moment I just want my invoices to say "no GST" just like that do for UK account "no VAT".

Hi Emily,

Unfortunately not. As Clear Books is a UK-based software, it complies only with UK tax law, which is why the VAT reports can only be submitted in the UK.

I understand that you want the name change showing only on invoices etc and how this would be useful to you and others in your situation. Therefore I will submit this as a customer request for consideration.
