Cannot process transaction of an unlocked period

Hi,

I cannot save a changes I am making in an unlocked period, please see attached file.

We are trying to make an audit adjustment in 2017 by reclassifying the account. Our approach was to change the account name from the invoice we have created. My log in details was already given a full access to edit 2017(unlocked) account but, its still showing that the period is locked.

Could you please check it as we need to update our records.

Hi Cecille,

You will have to unlock your accounting periods by heading to Settings > Accounting > Periods. Please note, there is a Reporting Period tab and a Locking Period tab, please ensure that in both tabs, there are no locked periods. Please see below:
