Reciept/attachment upload from Android App

Hi - I tried uploading a photo from my gallery using the Android app for a reciept at the weekend and it wouldnt work - it simply returned to the previous screen. Am I doing something wrong here?

Hi Sean,

Ah I see, unfortunately, we no longer support the app as we are currently devoting our development resources on Clear Books Micro, which is essentially a spreadsheet software in preparation for Making Tax Digital. However, I'm glad you've found the workaround.

No not specifically as the attachment I was trying to upload was in support of an expense claim. The option I was using is from the Clearbooks App - in the drop down menu there is an "Attachments" option and its this that doesn't want to work - whether attaching form gallery or from the camera. I can get around it by emailing to scans+xxx@clearbooks.co.uk for now.

Hi Sean,

Unfortunately, I am not too familiar with the Android app you are using. When creating an invoice, you should be able to click Manage Attachments where you can then upload the relevant file, is this not the case for you?
