API not functioning when creating future invoices

I was told to write this here but there is a bug that does not allow creation of invoices for a future date when using the API. This of course is possible through the user interface and it is imperative to have this functionality.

Hi Daniel,

Do you have a reporting period set up in the future in the system. E.g. navigate to Settings > Periods and ensure there is a period set up for when you are trying to create future invoices.

Hi Daniel,

I have just tested this and have been able to create invoices and bills in the future regardless of the reporting periods being set.
You must create reporting periods for the future dates from within Clear Books as an error is thrown when you try to edit that invoice without a corresponding reporting period.

Can you submit the data used to attempt creating an invoice through the API? It may be something else that is failing.
