new email icon too hard to see

The new email icon (new layout) showing whether an invoice has been sent or not is too similar. Can something be done about this, my eyesight isn't perfect. Different colours rather than both black would be good. The old icon design was much easier to see the difference and at a quick glance I can't see what has been sent.
