I reregistered with HMRC for MTD onboarding via Clearbooks over a week ago but status is still showing Pending. Contacted HMRC and was told in no uncertain terms that it's an issue with my software. What's going on?

This sounds like your authorisation isn't working. Can I ask you to head to Tax > VAT > MTD Onboarding and the head to step 5 and click deauthorise and then authorise once again. This should help.
