Expenses - medium business subscription

I've been processing expenses on Clearbooks since MTD, but I've gone to enter some this quarter and it says it's not included in my subscription. I had three employees previously, but I am now a sole trader, VAT registered, so it seems a bit over the top that I need a large business subscription just to enter expenses. What's changed (and when?) and what's the alternative to doing my expenses without an unnecessary subscription upgrade?

Hi Richard,

The subscription restructure occurred in April 2023 where the expense feature had moved to the Large plan. In this case, for sole traders, you can input employee expenses as bills where the employee or yourself is the supplier.
