I need a more thorough explanation of how manual entry works please

Please explain how the manual entry of income works. What I typed for contacts seems to have been deleted when I pressed save - is the programme unhappy because the contacts have not been put into "Contacts" Is the programme set to automatically try to generate invoices from what I have entered? I feel I need a more thorough explanation of how manual entry works please.

Hi Vivien,

No problem, in this case, you must click the Add button below the Contact dropdown where you can either add specific individual contacts or create a generic contact name. Once added, you will be able to select this contact from the drop-down menu for future manual entries.
