Customer is a Clearbooks User

When I add a customer I notice there is a field entitled "Clearbooks User", which requests a Clear Books user ID. I have one customer that I know is a Clear Books user and have a couple of questions that I've not been able to find the answers too by searching.

Firstly will their user ID be the email that appears on their invoices?

Secondly if I enter a customers user ID what benefits are there too me and the customer?

Hi Stuart,

There are issues with this feature at the moment - I have raised with the technical team. Everyone with a Clear Books account can find their Clear Books ID on the Settings>Organisation>API menu. You can then add this to any customer/supplier. When this is working you will be able to invoice/bill between accounts
