I know how to delete a supplier and mark a supplier as both a customer and a supplier, but is there a way to move a listing from supplier to customer without having to type all the information back in again and manually delete it

One idea may be to export the suppliers' details to CSV, delete all the other suppliers in the CSV, then import as a Customer. It looks like the field names are identical.
Still a little long winded but might save you 20 seconds over typing it all in.

Sorry it has taken one of us so long to get back to you. Yes this is possible (in a way)... Please go to Purchases > Suppliers > Edit Supplier (in question) > Preset Information > Change the information in the This contact is Drop-Down to: Customer and Supplier. This will not remove them as a supplier, but will allow you to treat them as a customer also,
