Get rid of page break on invoice pdf

Problem reported by Kris Saxton 10 years ago

Our invoices create pdfs that are 2 pages long, even though both the first and the second page have a large amount of blank space in them. Its as if there is a page break in the template but I don't know how to get rid of it. Even though there are only 2 lines of detail in the invoice, it always puts the footer on the next page. Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Hi Kris, That's an interesting one. I've had a look at your invoices and, essentially, you have too much text in your footer/Payment Advice section. As a result it pushes it onto the next page and as it is a footer the system pushes it to the bottom of the second page, hence the large void. The only way to eradicate this is to delete some of the text in your footer or rearranging it. For example, you have your sort code written twice and all the bank details are under your address. Perhaps removing the former and then shifting the latter will do the trick.

I hope this helps.

Chris

ok, great, yes, I suspected that. I will follow your advice, thanks!

No problem! Glad I could help.
