I created VAT return for the quarterly period ending 31/07/2014 and system basically generated the return for almost one year. This included even the purchase I have already filed.
SolvedHi, Thanks for getting back and clarification. Unfortunately has already been filed before we realised the problem so I cannot just delete. I left it with our accountant to find out we can be done to fix with HMRC.

Hello Charles,
Please can you go to Reports > Tax > VAT Return and then delete the July 2014 one.
This will release your invoices and bills back to the system.
Now, please create a new return for the same dates but un-check the "Include late invoices" tick box and then save the return.
This was the reason why the return had those because this tick box was checked.
