Deleting projects - not working?

Problem reported by Mike Walker 11 years ago

I am trying to edit projects, and delete ones that no longer apply to us, but it keeps coming up with the error message "This project must be archived before it can be deleted." even though it is archived?

Is this an error that everyone is seeing, or just me?

Thanks

Hi Mike,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I have tested it and you are indeed correct. I will forward this issue onto the technical team and they will endeavour to resolve this for you as soon as possible.

Many Thanks

Hi Mike,

This is just to let you know that this issue has been resolved and you can now delete archived projects again.

Hope that this helps

Chris

Hi Chris

Thanks for this, i have deleted a couple that i wanted to, but there seems to be one outstanding project that doesnt appear to have any transactions associated with it, however, i get the error message: "You must void/dissociate all transactions associated with this project before it can be deleted."

And as a result I am unable to delete.

The project on our system is called "rename 2"

Also, when you click "delete" on a project, it resets all the fields that you have manipulated, so that i have to enter everything again to get to the closed archived projects. This is really annoying and in-efficient. Can you ask the developers to stop that from happening?

Also, on the dropdown menu, "All/ Open /Close" it doesnt show the "archieved" option, until you have clicked show archieved, and then clicked find. This seems a bit silly? Why cant it immediately be an option on this drop down menu?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Mike,
