Import Statement

Hi I have tried to import a statement from 8th December until today and when I upload it automatically says that entries have been deleted as they are duplicate. Can you confirm how to resolve this as I have not further paid payments which have been reconcillated after 5th December. The system deletes all entries apart from one unpaid invoice. I await to hear from you. Trish

Hi Trish,

The system will delete entries on the basis they have the same date, description and amount. Can you confirm whether the imported entries match the entries within your Clear Books bank account?

The date of the entries are 8th December and if you click on the bank account and reconcillation sheet you will see that none have been reconcillated. Therefore they do not match.

Hi Trish,

I have looked into your account and within Money > Bank accounts if you navigate to imported statements that need explaining and select import ID 45 and select explain you will be able to see the entries for 8th December.

Please do let me know if this is what you were referring to. If not, could you please provide me with further detail so I can recreate this issue.
