Identifying Sales from Multiple Sites

Hi,

I have two physical sites and am about to open a third. Whilst we are retail we do not generate receipts for customers and so my staff simple process new sales in Clearbooks. Whilst this has worked to date for the small number of customers that we have ongoing I need to be able to easily and quickly see which site has generated what sales. My question is how do I get Clearbooks to report on sales for specific sites?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Liam,

You could use the projects feature to group together sales:

As you assign transactions to a project a separate P&L and cashflow report is generated on the Tools>Projects menu.

Thanks for that John. Great for the future when I break on of the sites away.

FYI. what I have done is created a new revenue code for each site as I wanted everything to stay on the same P&L and cashflow in the short term. This means that each sites sales are trackable and I can monitor them as needed.

Will certainly be using projects in the future.
