Here is the deal, I need an API key for clear-books for an app that I am involved with. I went through the site and I can't find a place to obtain one. Directions are highly appreciated.

The navigation has changed (very slightly) it's Settings>Organisation>Details&Tax there should then be an API tab in the column on the left:
Has this location changed recently? I can't find it in the same location anymore ("Settings > Details > API")
