Create Quote Not Working

Whilst in a client page if I use the buttons across the top I have noticed that the 'Create Quote' option selected from the drop-down menu 'Create Invoice' does not work. Using IE (browser)

I have also noticed that if I use Firefox to edit the email templates it does not display properly - it shows as a mix of html and inserted fragments of code which make no sense. Thus making it unsuitable for working on the wording and layout of my email templates.
