Hi Michael
Final Accounts is being worked on and is not yet a full fledged product that we can extend to our customers as yet.
We will let you know when we have a clear update from the development team.
Best regards
Latha
Hi Nigel
We have Final Accounts for Micro entities as a Beta version, available only for accountants, at the moment.
Submitting the accounts directly to HMRC is not yet available.
We will keep you posted on any further developments.
Best regards
Latha

what is the status?
After all this was supposed thave been launched 12 months ago :(
Sorry Andrew,
There are still a number of issues to work on and other priorities have taken it's place - we have a Clear Books road map (linked below) which should tell you what our development team are working on now.

Yes SPEED would matter greatly. IT has been almost a year since this key feature was announced as being "ready"
Do I care about a mobile app? No. Full accounts. I'd say that's a core part of a product supposed to help with accounting.
The questions is whom are you really serving?
small business owners trying to manage simple day-to-day book keeping challenges including simple CH and HMRX submissions or
accountants (i.e. you define your competition as SAGE)
I think you should be much clearer on this!
I totally agree, its been too long to get this section completed, mobile apps are not important to my clients as they just ring me and ask, or like most of us do when we meet with our clients on a regular basis update them then, thats all they want.
You are missing the point with your loyal clients i.e. us accountants and bookkeepers that pay more on a monthly basis. I see the competition for accounts software is hotting up with other providers launching their final accounts software that connects directly to HMRC and Companies House. I like most of us get calls most days on their products and savings over clear books. but like most on here we are trying to stay loyal to you.
Yes speed and further integration is great but get some kind of priority in what is needed before you go on to the next?
To play devil's advocate here...
I'm on the other side of the coin here, even as an accountant I couldn't really care less whether CB offered Final Accounts or not. In my mind CB is predominantly a bookkeeping tool, with accounts and tax being handled elsewhere. It takes all but 2 mins to transfer the TB over into a piece of AP software.
I'm a great believer in sticking to what you know instead of trying to master everything. CB does bookkeeping very well but there's lots to be improved on long before FA comes into it.
