Bank balance in Clearbooks and actual bank balance don't match? why is this? they both obviously started at zero
Can i reset it or have i done something wrong somewhere?

There's obviously something missing if they don't match.
You need to perform a reconciliation....
Open up your bank statement in Clear Books for the month in question. Ensure the opening balance matches that of your actual bank balance then tick-off each transaction until you find the missing one(s).
There are ways you can do this in the system but that's probably your easiest starting point first time round.
I have just found the first entry is wrong...
it shows a £3000 input from myself but £6000 balance in clearbooks... so it has got an extra £3000 from somewhere?
