Trialing Clearbooks

I am just looking at Clearbooks at the moment and my trail period is running out so just wanted to ask some general questions

  1. when I mark an invoice as paid, does it send a remittance?
  2. can I set it up to have 3 main departments with same/similar codes for each? I want to be able to report on each department separately and on a combined basis.
  3. I work for a small charity and don't have an accounts background, is clearbooks really as clear and simple as it looks?
