Hi,
I have had feedback lately from clients saying that when they recieve an email from us quoting on a job it only shows the "TOTAL" including the VAT, as most business work with Net values this is misleading, So in the body of the email how do i get it to show the Net value not the total please?
Hi Jonathan,
You can edit the email templates from the Sales > Emails > Templates screen. The quotes email is made up of the Quotes template, the Detail template and the Signature template.

Unfortunately, as Kevin pointed out there is no way to change the amount displayed to the total without VAT, however you could remove the total altogether or alter the text to clarify that it is VAT inclusive.

I could be wrong but I don't believe it's possible in all honesty.
Surely they can click on the quote itself though to see the full breakdown?
You would think that but the feedback Im getting is "on the move and on phones" they just see the price on the email so they think its Net which can obliviously out price us. Its client being "lazy" but hoping there is a fix.... Or can the price be remove all together forcing them to down load the file?
