Remove VAT from Purchases/Sales on dashboard

How can I hide the VAT from the figures shown on purchases and sales on the Dashboard? Most of the subcontractors I use are not VAT registered and to get a clear picture of our current cashflow, I need to manually remove the VAT from our sales figure to get an idea of our real balance.

The VAT is irrelevant to my understanding of our cashflow and actually confuses the issue. This facility is available on other software services and if not available would mean we will have to look elsewhere.

If so, there's no way to remove the VAT i'm afraid.

That's a shame, I'd prefer to work in an ex-VAT world in Clearbooks too.
