invoice which i cannot void/delete as it has already been included in a VAT return

I have an invoice which i cannot void/delete as it has already been included in a VAT return. The invoice is correct, but the wrong supplier has been selected.

Can anyone suggest another way to remove it. Many thanks

Do a credit note for the misposted invoice and then re-post with the same date as the credit note.
